Job purpose
You will be responsible for helping to achieve the company’s sales turnover, on time delivery and profit targets. Working as part of the sales team, you will make sure projects are thoroughly qualified, administered and followed up whilst maintaining relationships with key accounts. You will work on both a new enquiry and returning customer basis.
Responsibilities
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls to a wide variety of end clients and distribute to the correct team member accordingly.
- Provide greetings and assistance as a first point of contact for Hill Cross visitors
- Ensure that all enquiries both new and returning clients are qualified. Full history recorded within Hubspot CRM system.
- Request pricing from suppliers where applicable, ensuring we are pushing for the very best pricing.
- Produce quotes and flipbooks where applicable in a timely manner. These may be of a standard or bespoke nature.
- Managing client expectation at all times ensuring that we are fully understanding of requirements and providing regular updates.
- Check quotes up to the value of £5k. Ensure the best options are put forward in terms of style, supply to budget, etc.
- Manage and organise multiple projects at any one time.
- Assist Senior Project Co-Ordinator and wider team with general miscellaneous requirements.
- Chase deposit payments with clients where necessary.
- Following order confirmation from clients, produce Purchase Orders and issue to suppliers.
- Check supplier order confirmations are in line with what has been initially quoted and update status within Hill Cross database ready for handover to Project Management.
- Review all jobs to make sure the most up to date general arrangement and/or furniture schedule is in project file along with any supplier quotes.
- Ensure deal pipeline is always fully up to date within Hubspot.
- Work to strict follow-up KPI’s making sure everything is recorded in a consistent manner. Record information ascertained on Hubspot enabling suitable conversion reports to be produced. Providing sufficient detail as to reasons behind any unsuccessful bids.
- Maintain on-going relationships with existing customers and develop ways to increase customer service and profitability on these accounts. Reviewing those clients without contact within 30days.
- Maintain all internal systems with client contact details.
- Pull together fabric schemes, send samples and advise clients where necessary.
- Work in conjunction with the marketing department to communicate key trends coming through and suggestions for marketing material.
- Work as part of a team towards a team target along with individual KPI contribution.
- Ensure deal pipeline is always fully up to date within Hubspot.
- Ensure quality aspects of role and responsibilities are adhered to at all times in conjunction with the organisations quality manual.
- Ensure environmental aspects of role and responsibilities are adhered to in conjunction with the organisations environmental manual.
Business Development
- Aim to beat the monthly sales target each month
- Highlight to Business Development Manager leads which would require visit / further business development.
- Make sure deal pipeline is up to date and quotations are followed-up with 48hrs initially.
Operational Performance
- Work with project manager & CAD to make sure we reach manageable conclusions on bespoke products for manufacture prior to quoting.
- Promote & maintain awareness and compliance of H&S in accordance with best practice and legal requirement
